His deep understanding of credit markets and financial structures stems from underwriting thousands of transactions and contributing to secondary market principles. A thought leader, Lloyd has written extensively on industry topics, including his influential column for BlackCommentator.com, where he exposed the truths behind the Subprime mortgage crisis and predicted the impacts of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Lloyd is the founder of Anchor Renaissance Institute, a Virginia-based proprietary school that trains mortgage bankers to excel in today’s complex financial landscape.
